How are break deductions calculated?

break calculations are pro-rata

if its a 8 hour shift with 30mins break and 6 hours where core and 2 where unsocial then...

** break divided by total hours times by core/unsocial hours = total break allocation/split

Core breaks would be (30/8)*6 = 22.5mins

Unsocial breaks would be (30/8)*2 = 7.5mins

So Core pay would be 5.625 * core pay rate

Unsocial would be 1.875* unsocial pay rate
