The LMS app (or “LMS Doctors”) is an application that is designed to be a friendly user interface to help doctors look for jobs on mobile devices or tablets.

Android users please follow the guide below where the heading says “Android” or press the Android at the top of the page.For IOS users please scroll down until you reach the heading “IOS” or press the IOS at the top of the page.

Android

Signing in

Once the app is loaded up you will be able to login using the same details as the website version.

If you forget your username or password please select either “forgot username” or ”forgot password” so you can get to any of the following pages.

Once you have entered your email the following screen should appear and you should be able to change your username/password via the link sent to the email.

At a glance

After logging into LMS you will be greeted with this page.From here you can see the basic information of how many jobs and shifts are available as well as other information.

Selecting the bars will allow you to change to “Home”, ”Jobs”, ”Shifts” and “Notifications”.

Jobs

You are able to select a job by pressing on the job.

Pressing the refresh icon in the bottom right will refresh the page and will update anything that has changed.

You can be more specific when looking for a job by applying filters to the page.The filter can be found on the job/shift page or in the bars.

When looking at a job you are able to view the pay per hour, the dates you will be required to work, a brief description of the job and a map feature that allows you to see in google where the hospital is located.

Once you have pressed on apply, the job will be booked and you will get the following message at the top of your screen.

When going onto the shifts tab you will be presented with the image below.You are only able to select one shift from each date.For example you can not select two shifts for the 18th August only one.

Pressing the refresh icon in the bottom right will refresh the page and will update anything that has changed.

You are able to see some details of the shift such as times, location and the title of the job.

Shifts

When selecting shifts you are able to select more than one from different dates.If the “review and book” button is pressed it will take you to a confirm booking page.

Once you have been taken to this page the system will make it reserved for you.This will last around five minutes till the job becomes no longer reserved.

Once the time is up the following message will appear at top of your screen however you still are able to confirm the booking.

After you confirmed the booking you will be presented with the terms and conditions that will need to be signed in order for the booking to be sent to the trust.

After reading the T&C’s you will be required to sign it by writing your signature in the empty box below.

When you have signed the terms and conditions a different screen will come stating that the shift has been sent for reviewing.

IOS

After the app is downloaded please launch it.

When you lunch the application you will be required to sign in.You don’t have to sign in every time if you tick the box that says “remember me”.The login details should be the exact same has the website version.

At a glance

After signing in you are automatically put onto the main page which is called “At a glance”.This page allows you to see any previous or up coming shifts, how many jobs and shifts are available and either a way to contact LMS software support by pressing on the mail icon or the phone icon.

You are able to change the page you are viewing by pressing the three bars in the top left corner.

Once you have pressed the three bars you are able to change the page by pressing home,jobs,shifts,notifications or by pressing the door icon in the top right that lets your log out.

Jobs

If you select the jobs tab you will be able to see all available jobs that have been linked to the hospital using the app.You will also be able to see how much you will get paid per hour during a day or a night shift and the date it happens.

Pressing the filter icon in the bottom right will allow you to be more specific when looking for a job when you hit apply.

When pressing on a job the details of it such as the date, pay per hour, day or night shift and more will appear and along with calendar and google map features.

Shifts

If you go to the shifts tab you are able to see all available shifts to you with a brief detail.This will include if its a day or night shift, when will it be and where.

You are only able to select one shift from each date, for example you can not select two shifts from the 20th August but you are able to select shifts from the 20th August and the 21st August.

Pressing the filter icon in the bottom right will allow you to be more specific when looking for a job when you hit apply.

Notifications

By clicking on the notifications tab you are able to see any notifications that you should have received.These notifications may take some minutes to send.

If some reason you are not receiving notifications from the app you need to turn it on in settings.

To do that go to your settings by either on bottom bar or your main page of your IOS home screen.

Once the settings has been loaded please type in the search bar “notifications” and click on it.

When you are on the notifications settings, scroll down until you find “LMS Doctors”

Once you find the app press on it and “allow notifications”.
